The Scientific Journal of the Faculty of Foreign Languages operates a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process.
Each submitted manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening to verify its relevance to the journal’s scope and compliance with submission guidelines. Manuscripts that pass this stage are sent to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:
– originality and contribution to the field
– methodological rigor
– clarity and organization of the argument
– relevance to the journal’s scope
– quality of references and adherence to academic standards
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editorial board makes one of the following decisions:
– accept the manuscript
– accept with minor revisions
– request major revisions
– reject the manuscript
The review process typically takes 4–8 weeks.
All participants in the review process (authors, reviewers, and editors) are required to maintain confidentiality and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
The editorial board ensures that the review process is conducted in a fair, objective, and timely manner.
